Applying wax to cotton is a centuries-old European technique for adding a layer of weather-resistance to outerwear. As an update to the classic method, we applied the waxed finish to a stretch-cotton fabric for a bit of extra comfort and freedom of motion. When the finish starts to fade after several years of wear, it can be re-applied by a professional. If properly cared for, this rugged yet elegant big and tall jacket can last for decades.
